Frequently Asked Questions
What is ZeroHold?
ZeroHold is a risk-free B2B retail ecosystem that connects verified manufacturers with retailers, provides free POS and dashboard tools, and protects retailers from deadstock losses with an automated pickup & relist/refund system.
Who is ZeroHold for?
Anyone in the garment/retail value chain: from single-shop neighbourhood retailers to regional multi-outlet chains, online marketplace sellers, wholesalers, and manufacturers—from low-budget essentials to premium luxury lines.
How do I sign up as a retailer?
Sign up and complete a quick KYC to unlock full access — curated catalogs, verified manufacturers, the free POS, and your Retailer Dashboard. After verification you can purchase stock for your shop directly from our marketplace as easily as shopping online for daily essentials: browse, add to cart, and place demand-backed orders that respect manufacturer MOQs. (Full onboarding flow: sign up → verify → explore catalogs → purchase stock → track orders → sell.)
How do I sign up as a manufacturer?
Register, complete verification, upload your catalog and MOQs. Your account unlocks the Growth Dashboard, Smart Order Processing, and access to the pan-India retailer network.
What does ZeroHold charge manufacturers?
ZeroHold provides you with a ready B2B platform where you don’t waste time or money chasing customers. You receive direct purchase orders — no calls, no meetings, no follow-ups. Unlike traditional marketing, you don’t need to spend lakhs on sales teams or promotions.
There’s a one-time ₹999 account activation fee for verification. After that, you only pay a small commission per confirmed sale, with no hidden charges or upfront commitments.
Can small retailers use ZeroHold? Is it suitable for a one-shop store?
Absolutely — the platform and POS are designed for single stores and scale up for multi-outlet retailers. Free software, deadstock protection, and simplified onboarding are made for small businesses as much as for large chains.
Can I sell online and in-store simultaneously?
Yes — ZeroHold provides omnichannel support: POS syncs with your eCommerce store and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra), keeping inventory real-time across channels.
What dashboard features help prevent deadstock?
Aging trackers, Deadstock Risk Index (DRI), slow-mover heatmaps, low-quantity alerts, markdown simulator, replacement suggestions, and auto pickup scheduler — all visible in one dashboard to predict, prevent, and recover aged inventory.
What is “deadstock protection”? How does it work?
If items remain unsold for your chosen protection window (6 or 12 months), ZeroHold flags them as deadstock, schedules a door-to-door pickup, performs a quick QC, and then either relists viable units across the network or issues a full refund/store credit — or exchanges value for fresh trending stock. The whole flow is tracked in your dashboard.
Are returns sent back to the manufacturer?
No — the deadstock return and relist flow is handled by ZeroHold (retailer-side recovery). Manufacturers are not held responsible for retailer deadstock under this model.
